Born in Greece, Elli started playing the piano at the age of 7. She studied at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens at the class of professor Valery Sagaidachny and graduated with the Soloist's Diploma in Piano Performance and degrees in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue with distinction. She also received a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation of Greece (I.K.Y). to study at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she completed a first class honours Bachelor's degree in Musicology and Music Pedagogy.
In 2012 she obtained her Master's degree and LRAM piano teaching diploma from the Royal Academy of Music, where she studied with Tatiana Sarkissova and Carole Pressland on a full scholarship from the 'Maria Kassimati' trust. She has performed in masterclasses of renown pianists, such as Gordon Fergus-Thompson, Hamish Milne, Frank Wibaut, Ian Fountain, Martino Tirimo and Dimitri Toufexis among others and has participated at the International Summer Academy of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria.
Elli gave her first public performance at the age of 11 at the Greek National Television (ERT) and as a teenager she was awarded 1st prize at the National Piano Competition organised by the Greek Ministry of Education, 4th prize and special prize for the best Greek contestant at the ''Konzerteum'' international piano competition, and 2nd prize at the X.O.N National Piano Competition in Athens. Currently based in London, Elli performs regularly as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist. Recent performances include violin-piano recitals in France with violinist Anais Ponty (at the Fondation La Borie en Limousin, at the Espace Mont Gerbassou, Ambazac and at the festivals 'Cazalibus' and 'Rencontres de Neddes'), solo recitals in UK and Greece and a collaboration with the chamber orchestra 'Opéra de Baugé'.
Elli has been teaching the piano and giving masterclasses since 2005 and she is passionate about working with students of all ages and levels. Since 2012 she has been based in Ruislip, North West London, and has been member of staff at the 'Vivace Music School', the 'Harefield Academy' and the 'Beethoven Music School'.
